Precept, as an international organization with decades of experience in former Soviet countries and thousands of leaders and trainers, is perfectly placed to respond to the crisis in Ukraine. Many are at the borders providing practical support and directing people to stay in the homes of Precept students inside their countries, but more importantly they are sharing the gospel with the refugees – they are praying with them, giving out Bible studies and showing them how they can receive the love of the Lord.
This is where you come in. You may already have donated items or money for basic human needs (in response to Isaiah 58:7), but we are praying that the Lord would lay on your hearts to give generously to the spiritual needs of the Ukrainian people, so that Precept can print shipments of Bible studies:
- For Adults/Teens: 40-Minute Breaking Free From Fear
- For Adults/Teens: 40Minute Having A Real Relationship With God
- For Children: D4Y Wrong Way Jonah
We can print a Precept book for only US$3.00. For every three Dollars that you donate, you are giving someone – an adult or a child – the opportunity to know Peace and Life – Jesus.
The time is now – please donate to Precept (write ‘Germany’ in the memo line). We want to make the first books available within the next few days, but our prayer is that we will be able to provide ongoing support for the weeks and months to come.
We are in direct contact with our Precept partners in Moldova and Poland. We already have provided shipments of materials to the region, but we also want to be able to minister to the 140.000 refugees who are already in Germany (and whose numbers are growing daily).
To get a head-start, we need to have 5000 Ukrainian books and 3000 Russian books ready to go. As far as the children’s books are concerned, we want to initially have 3500 copies in stock.
Our strategy for reaching the refugees includes starting Bible study groups in the refugee centers as well as network with other organizations (churches and para-church organizations) to disciple those whom God has sent to us.
